Another sea stack from the West Coast Trail.

I was looking through my pictures of the West Coast Trail and came across this jem. It captures so much of the trail. The virgin rainforest, ocean, beach, mist and comparatively tiny hikers

Ah the first flowers of spring. Well its not yet spring yet but they are still punching up through the soil like hungry children.

A young alpine tree in the beautiful Tetrahedron Wilderness. How these saplings manage to survive the heavy snow is simply amazing.

The remnants of a pier at Roberts Creek under a peach and teal sunset. Again, the warm colors of the sky don't show the true cold of the day!

The calm pinks and mauves of this mountain scene are in contrast to the icy wind that shook my tripod and made it difficult to achieve a steady shot.

The last rays of sunset paint the North Shore mountains in delicate shades of purple and rose.

Yet another picture of Arbutus trees and rocks.

This one is from today's trip to Smuggler's Cove near Halfmoon Bay. THe arbutus trees, cliffs and sea water make for an arresting image.

There goes the ferry over to the big city. Too bad Lorien is on it!!!

Ah the first crocusses of spring...in February.

A sunrise picture from last summer. THe sunny weather is finally here. Now if only I could drag myself down to the water for a sunrise everything would be great.
