The alpine meadows at Helm Creek were bursting with wildflowers, lupins, heather, anemones and many more.

Fading light on the FitzSimmons Range. Its amazing I was ale to hold this one steady as I was getting eaten by the bloodthirsty hordes of mosquitos!

A more complete view of Garibaldi Lake in all its cobalt glory.

The crystal blue waters of Garibaldi Lake as seen from Panorama Ridge.

The Murtle River Canyon as it merges with the Clearwater.

The Trophy Mountain meadows. We were surprised not to see any grizzlies since they find the bulbs of the glacier lillies very appetizing.

One more of Helmecken falls, this was taken at sunset. Note the delicate rainbow to the right of the falls.

Teenagers look the same regardless of species. This grizzly is moody, slouching and looking for a pizza!!

Helmecken falls. Misty, dramatic and a 140 meter plunge...can you say vertigo.

Well I'm back online and its time to make up for lost ground. Here is a picture of the emerald waters of Joffre Lake.
