The tide was way out last noght. the moon on ths sand and tide pools created interesting patterns and forms.

Yet another crocus...looks like spring is finally here. You just gotta love BC.

I was going through some photos from December and discovered this little gem that slipped past my eyes the first time. I hope you like it.

The neighbour accidentally left her sprinkler on the other night. The result was something not often seen on the Wet Coast, icicles!! They didn't last long but they were pretty cool.

One final shot from Chinese New Year/ I just loved the sinuous dragons. It must take lots of practice to not trip or get tangled up.

Ah the first blossoms of spring. THe headey scent of new growth wafts its way across the coast, and its only February!!

The parade involved people of all ages from the Vancouver Chinese community dressed in colorful clothing.....it was truly a feast for the eyes.

A scene from the Chinese New Year celebrations Sunday...what fun.

Another breaking wave from a coastal walk. These pictures are very fun to take although they do take a lot of patience.

I just love the twisted shapes of arbutus trees, they give the coast an almost mediterranian air.

This wave caught the rays of the setting sun in its splash. The wind from the ocean was so strong and bitter that I could barely move my fingers. Still had a great time though.

A snowy picture for you this morning. Snow on the Sunshine coast is so rare that when it comes I am out photographing as long as there is light. It makes the Gumboot look like a post card.
